How Can I Support AlpacaWatch?
There are several ways that you can support AlpacaWatch.
- Join, and be an active member. If you hear of a concern that affects the health and welfare of alpacas in your area let us know. This does not have to be a nation wide issue. If you are in California, and there are serious fires that threaten certain counties let us know. If you area or county is being threatened by hurricanes please report it. We can set-up a page where members able to host can add their contact information. Needless to say if there is a serious health concern please report it. The success of AlpacaWatch depends on a team effort. We are each a resource and part of the solution.
- Contribute an article to our library. If you have written a good article that can help alpaca owners better understand a medical concern facing alpaca/calelid owners please consider submitting it to us. If AlpacaWatch uses it you will be given credit and a link to your site.
- At this time all the expenses of the site and organization are paid for by Janet Morrow from her personal resources. There is no reimbursement for the hours she spends on the site, collecting data, or sending out reports and updates. If you would like to make a contribution to help defray the costs it would be appreciated. At this time any donations are NOT tax deductible.
